Luxembourg backs Kosovo integration process with around 30m euros

The meeting discussed co-operation within the Kosovo European integration process, with particular emphasis on implementing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, visa liberalisation and Kosovo's approach to EU programmes.
Minister Hoxha and Dostert discussed implementing Luxembourg assistance in Kosovo. Luxembourg is supporting Kosovo institutions in education, health and water sector. Projects in these sectors worth 22.5m euros are being implemented, while more projects worth 30m euros will be launched during the period 2017-2020.
In this case, Minister Hoxha, the special emphasis on supporting the European integration process for which the project is envisioned is to be implemented through technical assistance to work on building capacity for the implementation of the SAA, respectively, nine chapters now identified as primary.
For her part, Mrs. Dostert underlined Luxembourg's continued commitment to the Kosovo European integration process and offered continued support in the framework of concrete reforms in education, health and water sector.
