Kurds expected to declare independence, Turkey reacts sharply

Northern Iraq authorities have announced a referendum on independence by the official Baghdad, sparking a lot of tension in areas where they have direct interests in Turkey, the US, Great Britain and Iran. On the other hand, Turkey has begun to make its own accounts in the Middle East, which is now being re-edited. While discussing the announcement of another independent state in the area, which will be North Iraq or else Kurdistan, Turkey has begun to refer to the June 1924 agreement between Turkey, Iraq and Great Britain, writes Albeu.com. The agreement in question envisions the ban on forming another state on the border between Turkey and Iraq.
And if that happens - forming the state, Turkey was entitled to introduce on its territory the territories of Mosul and Kirkuk. Turkish authorities have openly threatened that if northern Iraq is declared independent then it will “respond in the language they understand”, taking into consideration military intervention. Now the Middle East is being re-edited and it seems that the likelihood of the area finding peace in the near future is impossible.
