The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms, in the case of the launch of the campaign for the October 22nd municipal elections, calls for political subjects to adhere to the code of courtesy for the fair and transparent campaign, where insulting vocabulary would be excluded, which affects tension with the possibility of escalation with unpredictable consequences.
According to KMDLNJ, the heads of political subjects bear responsibility for ensuring conditions for a normal campaign performance by not allowing members of the subject to lead the campaign to strain it.
The KMDLNJ considers that political subjects aimed at straining the situation to win votes and voters, without a doubt, will be badly separated, while calling on candidates competing for mayors and municipal municipalities to be careful about the promises given, as they should be in the interest of citizens.
“Projects dealing with the central level of power should not even be part of the campaign for local elections because it is not the responsibility of local governance to deal with these” topics, the KMDLNJ communiqué says.
