This is Haradinaj's wish for Chancellor Merkel

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Hardanyaj has sent a letter of congratulations to German Chancellor Angela Merkel on her victory in the 24 September elections.

In addition, Prime Minister Haradinaj has expressed his admiration for her re-election in the fourth consecutive mandate to serve the best interests of Germany's Federal Republic.

The Kosovo prime minister has praised the Chancellor for the stable and powerful leadership, as well as for the important role she and the German government have in supporting Kosovo's political and economic perspective.

The Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany have excellent bilateral relations, and I want to reconfirm the commitment of the Government of Kosovo to deepening further co-operation already existing between our two countries. Germany has always been a powerful supporter of Kosovo's independence and its agenda for European integration.

I express my best wishes to the Government and the people of the Republic of Kosovo for the continued prosperity of the Federal Republic of Germany and use the opportunity to express my highest consideration to you.
