Haradinaj pledges support for Croatian community in Kosovo

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj hosted Croatia's former president, Stjepan Mesic, who congratulated Kosovo Prime Minister for office, expressing his best wishes for him and the people of Kosovo on the Euro-Atlantic road today.

Christic, in turn, has indicated that political functions are fleeting, but that friendship with Ramush Haradinaj and with the people of Kosovo will be eternal.

Prime Minister Haradinaj stressed the strong support that Mayor Mesic has given to Kosovo and its people, in all stages, from the peaceful movement of the years of yet90s to the liberation war, as well as the country's journey to independence, to this day.

A small Croatian community lives in Kosovo, and I, as the country's prime minister, will at no time leave them alone. I'll be next to them”, Haradinaj said.

He said the example of Croatia's journey to EU and NATO membership is a good example on which Kosovo should rely on its Euro-Atlantic agenda.
