Gruevski tells why he was never on official visit to Kosovo

Macedonia's former prime minister, Nikola Gruevski, has indicated why he has never been on an official visit to Kosovo.

The exact key is that I didn't come to a bilateral visit, I came to Pristina in another quality, to another official event as prime minister, but that wasn't a direct bilateral visit”, he said, in an interview in Klan Kosova.

Mr Hashim Thaci has been to me as head of government twice -- once before coming to power, then once again after he came to power”, Gruevski added.

The fact that we often met outside” may have contributed to that, he said.

“We have often attended various forums, in which we have completed meetings”, has reminded Gruevski.

“This may have contributed to the rarest time we have bilateral meetings, although we are so close, 90km we are distance”, the former Macedonian prime minister has said.
