Kosovo Assembly MP from the ranks of the Serbian List Slavko Sini has today declared they will not vote on the formation of the Kosovo Army in the Assembly.
Thus, the Kosovo government, led by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, has declined to comment, with the reasoning that it does not interpret the declarations of the Parliament's deputies.
In a proposal for '%desksonline, Halil Matoshi from the Office for Communication with the Government of Haradinaj has said all open issues in the country will be resolved with dialogue by political parties.
The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo has no specific assessment of any Kosovo Assembly MP's statements. The Kosovo government is committed to all open issues being resolved with dialogue with all political parties represented in the Parliament and the constitutional laws of the Republic”, the government's response reported.
On the other hand, for how to achieve the KSF transformation in the FAK, Matoshi shows they will comply with the laws and the country's Constitution.
“Interformation of KSF in the Kosovo Army will take place in line with the country's laws and Constitution and in co-ordination with Kosovo strategic allies, including NATO”, Matoshi has said.
In the end, he has indicated that steps for the process of forming the Army will always be political and constitutional.
“Steps will be political and constitutional, without even setting aside aspects of the advancement and modernisation of this” security structure, the government's response is said.
