Father complains in the police that the man is beating his daughter

A person complained to the police during yesterday because her daughter is the victim of violence in her husband's family.

The case has occurred in the town of Podujevo, as police have appeared at the scene where they met the couple who had also suffered bodily injuries during the clash.

Both have been sent for medical treatment at the main Family Medical Centre in Podujevo.

After interviewing the suspects at the prosecutor's order, they were released, while the suspect went to her parents' house.

Police announce the case is being investigated.
