The reason that seems to have prompted him to erase all tweets with which he had supported a candidate in Alabama for preliminary elections for the Senate. Candidate Luther Strange was defeated and very soon the traces of Trump's support disappeared.
“Since I backed him, Luther Strange was moving forward in polls”, it was written in a previous post of Trump, already erased. During the campaign in Alabama, Trump and his deputy Mike Pence appeared on the side of Strange to show he had the administration's backing, but still could not win over the Roy Moore ultrasound.
