American President Donald Trump's provocative rhetoric on North Korea “could lead to great danger”, says retired General Michael Hayden, who served as director of the government. NSA and CIA.
“A very harsh but very precise statement,” said Hayden for CNN on Monday, referring to Secretary of Defence James Mattis' statement he made Sunday after North Korea carried out a test of a hydrogen bomb that could be placed on an interctinent ballistic missile.
“Which is slightly different from some of the things the president is allowing himself to say... which have been very difficult but very inaccurate and this could lead to great danger”, Hayden said.
