“What is obviously unacceptable to us is that on the one hand we work so hard to resolve this issue peacefully, and on the other hand our interests are endangered as a result of sanctions imposed against North Korea”, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said during a Monday news report quoted by <x2AP”.
It comes after Trump warned Sunday that the US is considering “halting all trade with any country doing business with North Korea”, Romania Today” reported, the Periscope broadcast.
Trump's comments came after North Korea took its sixth and most powerful nuclear test Sunday.
Pyongyang claimed the test included a hydrogen bomb that could be established on an intercstinctical ballistic missile (ICBM), state news agency KCNA reported.
China would be drastically affected if the US were to cut trade ties with it, as the United States of America imported goods worth about $40 billion a month.
Trump had written through his Twitter in July that trade between China and North Korea had increased almost 40 percent in the first quarter of 2017, expressing its disappointment toward the Chinese state./Periscopi/
The United States is considering, in administration to other options, stopping all tradition with any country doing business with North Korea.
