Mr. Hasan survived the attack today, but a police officer and a passerby case were killed and four others injured, local police officials have said.
A Karadzic police leader said one of the attackers was killed by police.
Lawmaker Hasan had been attacked until he greeted people after Bajram's pardon in a northern neighbourhood of Karachi.
No one has claimed immediate responsibility for this attack.
A leader of the MQM movement, belonging to lawmaker Hasan, has written on the Twitter network that the attackers were in police uniform.
