(9 years ago)LDK candidate for Pristina chairman Arba Abashi has criticised the current government in Pristina, that during her mandate she has not worked hard for developing the sport, which, according to him, has degraded. He said that sports in the municipality of Pristina has degraded the years [...] during his opening of his sports programme.
He said that sports in Pristina's municipality has degraded in recent years, and that sports locations are not maintained, which is leading to young people's injuries.
Abrashi pledged that during his four-year term, particular focus will be on the creation of recreative areas in any neighbourhood in the capital, and that the Youth Palace of Pristina returns to the municipality, so that young people in the city exploit those areas for which they are envisioned.
He said that in school sports there will be particular focus, in consulting teachers and sports experts to strengthen the conditions for school leagues, which will be functional so that they can develop new talents.
