Nearly 90,000 Muslims, Ringya, have fled from the violence in Burma and crossed the border with Bangladesh.
The figure is based on the calculations of humanitarian workers of the United Nations in the Coz Baser border area.
Violence broke out on August 25th, after rebels Ringya attacked several police stations, then inciting Burma's Buddhism Army response.
The military says it is conducting operations against the extremist <x0-terrorists”, but Muslims who have fled to Bangladesh say they have been forced to flee due to murder and arson.
The military has said that nearly 400 people -- most of them rebels -- have died in clashes in recent days.
Rebellizers Roggya first appeared in October 2016 when they carried out similar attacks on the police.
Even then there was mass Muslim escape.
