Human rights monitors in Syria have said it is not clear who is responsible for the attack.
In recent days, Syrian government planes and their ally, Russia, have been frequenting attacks on Idlib.
British guards have said that 12 people have died during air strikes in the Harem district, just 20 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital, Idlib.
Rescue teams say Syria and Russia have killed civilians in air strikes, as attackers began offensive against parts of the government, southwest of the country.
Both countries have dismissed accusations that they have killed citizens.
