A Kosovo refugee in Germany has spoken about parliamentary elections in Germany. In an International Media Report Al Jazeera has today published about refugee sentiments about parliamentary elections to be held there, Havana has also spoken.

As presented in the medium Al JazeeraHavana Morina is Albanian from Kosovo, 16, which is a student in Germany. She is concerned with the rise of the extreme right in Germany, the alternative Fur Deutschland (AfD).

The question that all politicians have in this election is: What about the refugees? Die Linke (May Left Party), Die Grunen (The Green Party) and Social Democratic Party (SPD) are more supportive of refugees than Angela Merkel's CDU”, begins the 16-year-old Have's confession. “They talk to us more often. For example, the Left Party supports providing residences for refugees who have lived in shelters for up to two years in Berlin. ”

Havana Morina says it is not the policy of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her CDU party. Kosovar says that even though some refugees love Merkel, she sees something she likes about the German Chancellor, reports Insander.

Some refugees love Merkel. When I was in Kosovo, I loved him too. After I live here and learn how things work, I feel different. My whole family has been deported. That makes me especially focused on what's happening in German politics. I want family reunification policies to change. I do not want my brothers and sisters to forget me - I want to grow up with them”, says Havana Morina.

Kosovo refugee tells Al Jazeeras that the German “elections affect refugees, but we don't have a right to vote”.

Other people vote on issues affecting us ʹ does not make sense”, Morina declares.

For refugees from Kosovo, only the victory of the far-right AfD party meant that “everything has ended” for refugees in Germany. She says she has sometimes been tried in Germany for what she represents.

“I think extreme right [ The AfD will succeed [from parliamentary elections], I have this feeling. Last week, I was in a refugee rights rally and we saw an election poster from AfD, as it was written "Stop Islamism." A lot of people here have been nice to us, but I also meet people on the street who call me terrorists and say: Go back to your seat.

And if the far-right party wins parliamentary elections in Germany, Havana says such a result would affect her life as well.

I can't live in a place that won't let me wear the headscarf. What difference does it make for other people if I make a decision to wear a tissue or to wear a bikini? These choices will affect my future. If AfD gains power, even in the coalition, then it's all over”, Havana notes.

German is now my home. I speak German better than my native language. Sometimes, I wonder why there's no place where I can live the way I want” /Insider. com
