The White House has defended President Donald Trump's reaction to the deadly violence during a rally of white supermacists in Virginia, amid criticism that the president had not effectively condemned extreme right-wing groups.
But a White House spokesman has said Trump's sentence has included white supermacists, broadcasting Express.
A woman was killed Saturday when a car crushed the crowd of protesters against the rally of supermacists in Charlottesville.
Nineteen others were injured in the incident, while 15 others were injured in separate clashes related to the rightist march Saturday evening.
Trump said yesterday that many sides are guilty of violent clashes between protesters and white supermacists in Virginia. Trump claimed that hate and fanaticism broadcast around the country have long before his political power.
We strongly condemn this scandalous display of hatred, fanaticism and violence, for which there are many sides. It's been happening in our country for a long time. Not from Trump's [time]. Not from Barack Obama's [time]. But it's been happening a very, very long time,” has said Trump. /Express/
