Images have shown that North Korea is preparing to launch a submarine-based ballistic missile test.
The photos, which took place earlier this month, are said to indicate similar preparations from the country compared to those in August last year when a submarine-based missile was recently tested.
Military experts have said that the lonely country, led by Kim Jong, is seeking to improve the sea-based nuclear fleet and its launch system Pukguksong-1 submarine.
The publication of images comes amid a period of close tensions between North Korea and the United States, with both sidessuing threats and counter-threats.
