The Rinas Border Police are facing an enormous influx at the entrance these days through the Rina airport. In addition to the crackdown on lawlessness, much is being worked on blocking those citizens who are aiming to go to asylum in France and other EU countries.
During August, 2745 Albanian citizens have entered Albania, as well as 35 918 foreign citizens.
Only 20 332 Albanian citizens have emerged as well as 26886 foreign nationals.
Over the past two days, there is a huge increase in the flow of entry into our country, with the number reaching up to 13 thousand Albanian and foreign citizens.
Currently, in Rinas, there are nine openings in the entrance and eight out.
During these days by border police services Rinas, 5 citizens have been arrested, as well as prosecuted in a free state of 4 others, for criminal work “Freezing passports, IDs or visas”.
Six reported citizens have been detained in the search, for various criminal acts, on behalf of the Police Local Directors in Circles.
During this period, 39 citizens of the additional measures specified in the order of the State Police Director General, released early August.
