Thaci has promised that the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia will be cast in the referendum. According to him, the agreement on normalisation and full reconciliation will be approved by civic will.
Kosovo will be given the opportunity for the first time, with my proposal, that the final agreement on normalisation and reconciliation between Kosovo and Serbia be approved by the will of Kosovo citizens. This time we will go beyond the Parliament; I will propose that this agreement be discussed, put into public discussion, but also pass through the Kosovo citizens' declaration procedures via referendum”, he has said.
Kosovo's president has met in Brussels with his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vuciq. Both have agreed that the Justice Agreement will be fully implemented by October of this year.
