A number of MPs have benefited tens of thousands of euros in salaries and honouraries from the Kosovo Assembly, although in only a few cases have been committed to parliamentary decision making.
In addition to LDK MP Teuta Rugova, who was criticised for failing to reactivate the past legislature, there are at least three other MPs who have neglected almost the whole job.
Agron Demi, former GAP Institute leader and vocal civil society activist based on KDI data, has said MPs Fatmir Limaj, Ramush Haradinaj and Blerim Shala entered the group of less active deputies.
Full status of Demi:
They all think Teuta Rugova was the least active MP. But there are at least three deputies who have completely neglected the debate and parliamentary decision-making:
Blerim Shala: There has been one talk at the session = (+/-) 100,000 euros (the pay of MP + turnout salaries).
(one of the votes has been the collapse of the government) = (+/-) 55,000 euros compensation.
Ramush Haradinaj: In his entire mandate by the MP has only participated twice in the vote (and has dropped the filter once) = (+/-) 50,000 euros in compensation.
Teuta Rugova has at least spoken three times and voted in most of the cases that have gone out for vote. KDI has built a very good platform for monitoring MP activitywww.votaye.org.
So now it's time for those of you who have voted, to monitor what they're doing in the Assembly and how they represent you.
