Since March of this year's Kosovo-Serbia dialogue had only been suspended. But a relapse failed to take place after new developments in the country.
Already about two months since holding national elections in Kosovo, the state continues to remain without the establishment of the new institutional leadership.
Unlike internationals, restarting dialogue with Serbia has been seen as necessary, as well as respecting agreements reached so far in Brussels.
And recently an opportunity for dialogue to pass to the presidential level had been mentioned. So represented by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciq, who had also begun to declare himself in favor of this idea.
Contacted by Indexline, the outgoing minister for Dialog, Edita Tahiri, has named the key and urgent is the creation of new institutions in the country.
According to her, the country faces an agenda of domestic and external priorities.
The key and urgent “is to create new institutions. Kosovo has ahead of an agenda of domestic and external priorities, which require solutions for the benefit of citizens and strengthening the state”, Tahiri has added.
According to Tahiri, it is the very dialogue with Serbia, part of these Kosovo priorities.
Brussels' “Dialogue is part of these priorities and is important because it is the dialogue for peace, neighbouring and integration and Euro-Atlantic integration for Kosovo” has concluded Tahiri.
