So thanks to Switzerland for giving Kosovo support in 1998-99

Thanks to the commitment of our numerous countrymen in the state of Switzerland in collaboration with the chairman of Zurich and with the support of Swiss President Michel Calmy Rey, we have placed the appreciative plaque at Stadhouse in Zurich, the chairman of the Gnjilan municipality, Lutfi Haziri, has announced.

“With the support we received from the leaders of Switzerland as the chairman of Zurich, then honoured President Michel Calmy Rey, we have arrived since after the people of Czechia who put up such plaque in 1968 to put on the plaque which thanks Switzerland's state for the crisis situation Kosovo was in 1998-99. On this occasion in particular, he thanked Alecbut Ibal, Ismet Abdelin, Isa Dervisin, Flamur Bajram, Isa Maliqi and hundreds of thousands of Albanians who are living heroes, who with their work and engagement, are making Kosovo build and develop and be introduced in the best possible way anywhere”, chairman Haziri has said.
