Very heavy footage has been published showing the moment when a car suppresses the protest crowd in Charlottesville, Virginia, U.S.A., killing one woman and hurting 19 other people.
Charlotteville Chairman Mike Signer called this incident <x0 terrorist attacks with a machine used as weapons”.
The incident occurred Saturday evening as anti-fascist protesters gathered in downtown Charlottesville to oppose a rally of white supermatists.
Disturbing images show people trying to escape as the gray car of the <x0 type “Dodge Challenger” rushed them at high speed, but the narrow road turned out to be deadly. The car crushes the crowd, broadcasts Express.
The driver, identified as James Alex Fields by Ohio, only 20 years old, was arrested and sent to police custody and is now charged with second-degree murder of a 32-year-old woman.
Police have not published information about the driver's motives.
