Only Serbian List has paid fine for violations during election campaign

So it has revealed Mul Descu, head of the Secretariat at PZAP, in an interview for Online Economy. He has confirmed that of the 348 thousand euros since they were fined, political parties have so far paid only 47 817 euros.

Descu has clarified that political parties must pay their debts by 22 August, because they cannot be certified to participate in the 22 October local elections.

“So far, the Serbian List has fulfilled all obligations. Even the Coalition PAN has paid a set sum of 1271 euros, while other subjects have not paid. A total of 348 900 euros have been fined by the PZAP to political subjects for the June 11th parliamentary elections have been paid 47 817 euros so far; while remaining unpaid there are 301 083 euros. This is the situation so far”, Descu said.

In fact, political subjects had to pay their sentences within 15 days. Better considering that we are now on the eve of local elections, political subjects if they want to participate in the elections are obliged to pay off these debts by August 22nd. We are waiting until this deadline for these subjects to pay, in contrast to all those political subjects that are fined, we will proceed through private accounts to collect these fines”.

The head of the Secretariat at PZAP stresses that political subjects are informed of the way they are paying and that no political subject can participate in the October 22nd elections without paying the entire debt.

All participants or subjects that are part of the coalition must all pay the fines. Otherwise they can't be certified. It means, no subject, even if he wants to participate in the elections as a special subject, cannot do it without paying the entire debt. In this case, the coalition is counted as a subject”.

Coalition PAN has been fined 158 thousand euros, LAA at 71 thousand and 700 euros, while Vetevendosje Movement at 66 thousand euros.
