Serbian diplomats will start returning to the Embassy in Skopje tomorrow, as Serbian diplomacy chief Ivica Dacic and Macedonian counterpart Nikola Dimitrov meet Friday in Nis to start resolving open issues with the aim of advancing relations between the two states.
As disclosed by Serbia's Foreign Ministry after the Daciq- Dimitrov phone conversation, the return of embassy personnel to Skopje will begin tomorrow, while the return of the Serbian ambassador has been warned of August 31st.
Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq and Macedonia's prime minister, Zoran Zaev, have talked “long and open” and have examined all the circumstances created following the withdrawal of personnel from the Serbian Embassy in Skopje.
The joint statement says that the Serbian president and Macedonian prime minister have reached reconciliation for five points, but that Kosovo is not mentioned.
Serbian diplomacy chief Ivica Dacic has said it would not be strange if Macedonia would support Kosovo's admission to the U NESTO. He has said that “wants in Skopje to know that we know all”.
Serbia has withdrawn personnel from its embassy in Skopje last Sunday, demanding greater security.
