These statements by Serbian officials come on the verge of constitutional changes Serbia must make on the road to membership in the European Union. Serbia has been urged to normalise reports with Kosovo, through obligations emerging from chapter 35, writes today “Koha Ditore”.
According to politician Belul Beqaj, Serbia has been trying to do with Kosovo what it wanted, so it has kept it in its constitution.
After failed efforts, Serbia now wants to do what it can. This avalanche of statements is nothing but an attempt to get from Kosovo what Serbia has in hand, not to return what it has lost -- and this is the northern part of Kosovo and the extraterriial of Orthodox saints”, Beqaj has said.
