Trying to save the police, but the 27-year-old Albanian...

Another Albanian has been arrested today in the neighbouring state of Greece, charged with drug trafficking.

A 27-year-old man who was traveling in the Trikala-Larisa road section stopped the patrol from being on the street.

Albanian citizens increased speed and tried to escape, but after persecution by police vehicles, they were blocked and cuffed.

Greek media record that from internal control of the car resulted in it transporting an amount of 50 - pound [25 kg] cannabis, ambalized in 50 plastic bags.

Police have also declared that besides drugs, they have seized the vehicle, a monetary sum of 175 euros, as well as 4 mobile phones.

In the local police community, it is said that the 27-year-old Albanian had brought drugs from Albania, in order to later traffic it on the Greek market.
