He said the sanction measures, signed by Donald Trump, showed the non-powerful American president, whom he said had been humiliated by Congress.
The law aims to punish Russia for alleged interventions in the 2016 elections and its actions in Ukraine recently.
Trump accused Congress of defrauding legislation, “reported BBC”, report Periscope.
The legislation limits the amount of money Americans can invest in Russian energy projects and makes it harder for American companies to do business with the Russian state.
The US has also imposed sanctions on Iran and North Korea.
Recently, the Iranian state said the new sanctions violate the nuclear agreement and would answer <x0 appropriate and proportional”, official news agency “sna” reported.
