Russian media: Zaev accepts Rama proposal, that will be Macedonia's name

So, according to “Sputnik”, which cites confidential sources within Zoran Zaev's delegation, the Macedonian prime minister has accepted the new name for Macedonia, which will be northern Macedonia or upper Macedonia. “Sputnik” writes that the proposal for this name came from Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, who at a meeting with Zaev at the Trieste Summit, has suggested that name for the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
Similarly, “Sputnik” writes that the name issue is also the condition for Macedonia to join NATO. Currently, Zaev is expected to put Macedonia's new name in referendum, despite US support.
