In a long-closed advice, a well-informed German official has asked what problem most concerns Europe. The answer was without hesitation: The Western Balkans, where the new fire crisis Russia and Turkey are blowing in, writes <x0Wall Street Journal”.

According to their worst scenario, Russia and Turkey will encourage its exhibitors in the Balkans, Serbia and Albania to help change borders in the region. Serbia, with Russian help, could annex large parts of Bosnia that are populated by ethnic Serbs, while Turkey could help Albania do the same maneuver not only in Kosovo with the Albanian majority, but also in Macedonia, where Albanians want union with the mother state, Time.net conveys the American newspaper's writing.

The situation in the Balkans is being complicated and the West should take care of many things, not only of the Russian mix, but also of Turkey's growing more NINO ( NATO only by name, because, despite major Turkish doubts about the report with Russia, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is increasingly co-operating with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Turkey and Russia have moved closer thanks to their opposition stance on Germany and the European Union. Russians not only hate him NATO, but those EU see it as an obstacle to their superpower role in European affairs, and Turkey has turned against it The EU and is seeking support in its conflict against Germany and its allies in the EU, Time.net conveys. For Turkey's Russia, the possibility of causing conflicts in the Balkans at low risk and low spending is too good not to be exploited.

States such as Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the paper states, would rather become EU members than allies of Russia or Turkey. But hopes for quick EU membership are fading.

Europe has lost Britain and has had difficult moments in regulating relations with members such as Hungary and Poland.

Serbs and Albanians are warning that if the West fled, they will look towards the East and that means moving towards nationalist agenda with Russian and Turkish aid.

For the EU, the new run of Balkan chaos will be disaster -- refugees, criminality, radicalisation of Balkan Muslims, a great chance for rival forces to achieve influence on EU spending.

And, the EU does not think that it alone will manage the Balkans, as even the US should be part of the election.
