According to Human Fight Watch, a group of women traveling southwest of the country for a feminist gathering have been banned by authorities and warned as perpetrators of extremist affairs.
Police entered a villa near Dzhubga, a village in the southern Black Sea region of Krasnodar, earlier this week and took five women to the police station, the group said.
They were acquitted after hours. However, for the group protecting human rights women have claimed to fear for their own safety.
