During his address in New York, where the UN regular session of the situation in Kosovo is being held, the Russian diplomat said politicians in Pristina are feeling protected and that they are not meeting the agreements reached in the dialogue held in Brussels.
Nebenzija has also said Russia seeks guarantees for the security of Serbs in Kosovo, while having rejected the requirement for completing the UNMIK mission, as there is no reason for that, according to him.
He has warned “of the danger from Islamic radicals and “condemned NATO's vocabulary, with which he long ago warned Pristina about Russian activities in Kosovo”.
The Russian diplomat has warned of possible consequences of such a policy, especially in Macedonia and Montenegro.
