Prosecutor Opens Investigation of Mimoza Kusari-Lila

The Special Prosecutor is investigating Mimoza Kusari Ella for criminally abusing official office. The investigation relates to its work as Minister of Trade and Industry. Two other investigations into oil lab cases were conducted against her. They were locked up in a lack of evidence. Kusari Lil says there is no information being investigated. It does not rule out the possibility of the investigation being linked to pressure to ensure coalition numbers PDK-AAK-Nisma.

Two investigations into almost the same issue have been opened and closed against MP Mimoza Kusari Lila.

However, a new investigation has recently been opened against her for working as Minister of Trade and Industry. The special prosecutor, Agron Bajrami, has been charged with this case.

The investigation concerns a criminal outcry handed down to the Prosecutor five years ago by two inspection troops of oil quality control, which were not committed by Kusari Lila as it was the Minister of Trade and Industry, but was engaged in a Croatian company called “Saybolt Pan Adriatic”

Common criminal charge was made by “Kosovo-Lab” run by Bekim Shyti and “S IERRA-Lab” represented by Ejup Gashi.

Based on this speculation, the prosecution had conducted investigations and no elements of the criminal act had been found. Despite the closure of the investigation, the Prosecutor's Office opened additional investigations against Kusari Lila and several other MTP officials.

Another investigation was conducted by a local Special Prosecution prosecutor. Even this investigation was closed in lack of evidence.

The chairman of the Alternative Party, which is in coalition with LDK and AKR, Mimoza Kusari Lila, says she is not informed of the investigation. She doubts this investigation is under way to pressure at the time when the coalition PDK-AAK-NISMA does not have the numbers for forming the government.

Kusari Lila said she was unaware of this investigation, as she said she was unaware even when she was investigated in the past.

A Prosecution decision has arrived in 2012 with which we have been informed there have been investigations. The decision said that after the investigation, there were no elements of the criminal act and therefore closed. The ruling also said that the parties were eligible for civil conflict in court”, it has clarified.

According to her, criminal charges were made after she had decided to establish order in the oil market.

Insander has learned that the decision to launch the investigation has been taken by Pristina Foundation Prosecutor Feti Tunizliu. The subject was then sent to Special Prosecutor's Capacity this month. The prosecutor, Agron Bajrami, has been divided.

Bajrami, meanwhile, has authorised the police to conduct investigations and interview witnesses. By his authorisation, he was interviewed last week, Jakup Gashi, owner of the lab “S IERRA-Lab”

Insander has asked the Prosecutor for the proceedings of the new investigation. But for more than a week, the prosecution has not clarified what it is about.

The Pristina Constitutional Prosecutorate has accepted the case from EULEX and, according to the Penal Procedure Code provisions by the date 3/4/2017, has made a decision to launch investigations against four people, and has authorised the Kosovo Police to take appropriate investigative actions”, the Prosecutor's Office for Media said.

The prosecution has said the same case is borne by the competency of Pristina's Constitutional Prosecutor at the competence of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo.

The case related to this case is that the State Prosecutor has closed the investigation into one person but that the others are continuing the investigation”, the prosecution has clarified, not showing who it is about.

According to the Prosecutor, this investigation is the new case and has nothing to do with two previous investigations.

Contacted by Insander, one of Kusari Lila's criminal allies, Jakup Gashi, has confirmed that he was questioned.

I've been questioned, I've been questioned before, and now”, he said.

“I hope that the Kosovo Police will do their job and continue and complete this subject, i.e. set up criminal rowing, since there are many facts, and there are grounds for criminal defaming”, he stated. /Insider. com
