According to the 11: 00 p.m. data today Tuesday, the number of subjects applied to the Central Election Commission to be certified for participation in the October 22nd local elections is 31.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has told Indesksonline that out of the total number of applications, there are 1 political party, 16 civic initiatives, 14 independent candidates for municipal mayors or municipal assemblies.
That number, according to Elez, is expected to change during the day.
The “Afat for submitting applications to be certified for participation in the 22 October Local Elections will be concluded by August 22nd. Political subjects must hand over to the Office for Recording of Political Partys lists of candidates for the head of the municipalities and for Municipal Places”, Elesi has said.
