Police investigate case of women threatening against state and religious leaders

By means of several graphs, written within Pristina University's Campus, on walls of the Philological Faculty, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, former Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti and the chairman of the Islamic Community, Naim Trnava, have been publicly threatened.
Kosovo Islamic Community has reacted to these x-rays. condemning and labelled unacceptable.
Kosovo's Islamic Community spokesman Ahmet Sadriou told Radio Free Europe that he condemns such actions, and that the death threat of BIC and Pristina leaders through graphs is an unacceptable and punishable act for normal societies.
The country's <x0IInstitutions, nor the BIK leadership is influenced by overnight individuals who call out to violence and sow hatred and patience. We are convinced that the authors and mentors of this weak act do not represent the attitude of the citizens of Pristina or the country. We consider this act isolated and invite citizens, especially students, to avoid falling prey to individuals who call out to violence, spread slander and contribute to hatred and patience”, Ahmeti said.
The Islamic Community has recalled that religion and religious objects in Kosovo “have always been in the function of peace, understanding, tolerance and harmony. This will be the Pristina Central Mosque”.
The Islamic Community has invited competent authorities to investigate the case and the authors of this act to be brought to justice.
In this case, order authorities say that after obtaining information, police have come to the scene and have the right actions in place.
Agron Borovci, Police spokesperson for the Pristina region, told Radio Free Europe that they have already launched an investigation into the case.
“Absolutely in co-operation with the Prosecutor, police are handling and working on clarifying all circumstances that characterize this situation. We're dealing with some x-rays, which consist in the formal persons can. Police have interviewed several potential witnesses, and at the same time are looking for other witnesses who could contribute to identifying people who might be involved in this case”, Borovci said.
These X - rayes are written by strangers after warnings about mosque construction in downtown Pristina.
Some of the graphes call for the death of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, BIC Chairman Naim Trnava, Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti, and Vetevendosje Movement MP Albin Kurti.
