A family party has turned into disaster for the Mehmeti family from the village of Bibaij of Ferizaj.
50 present have been poisoned, of which a 24-year-old woman and two children are in serious condition.
They do not know exactly where they got sick, but doctors suspect that this was due to the consumption of animal - based products.
A 24-year-old woman from Ferizaj is in danger for life. She and 50 others were allegedly poisoned Friday during a family holiday held in the village of Bibaij in Ferizaj.
The Mehmet family says that the evening party was in a restaurant, and in the evening she continued at home.
Hence, they are not sure where they were poisoned. Thus, members of this family had to seek help at the Infectious Clinic at QKUK.
Based on laboratory tests, doctors say poisoning occurred from animal consumption, RTK reports.
According to family members, other patients also lie at the Ferizaj regional hospital, while some are being treated at home. The National Institute of Public Health, as well as the Food and Veterinary Agency, which are investigating the case, has also been announced.
