US President Donald Trump's administration is preparing new sanctions against another group of Venezuelan officials, who are linked to President Nicolas Maduro.
These measures are the response to Venezuela, after the creation of a legislative body that has been opposed by many countries in the world, an American official has said.
The measures rescheduling the deadlock of these individuals' American assets, stopping US entry, and preventing them from doing business with American companies.
According to this official, who has been declared in atomic conditions, the new list of people who will be punished with these measures has not yet been disclosed.
Washington has already imposed these measures on President Maduro and 13 other Venezuelan officials.
The second phase of new measures is expected to penalise the oil sector in Venezuela, which is considered among the worst sanctions currently considered for the country.
Planning new sanctions comes after the inauguration of the new assembly, which is expected to write the country's new constitution, under which Maduro and his ruling party receive more executive powers.
President Trump's administration has reiterated the opposition's views in Venezuela, which says that the establishment of this embassy will establish the dictatorial system after several months of deadly protests in this country.
Venezuela is known as a rich oil country, but it is economically weak.
