“PAN is aiming to prevent institutional life until candidacy deals are completed”

Vetevendosje Movement, through media announcement, has reacted to today's coalition request PAN for the next session of the Kosovo Assembly to be held on 24 August, which was also approved by Parliament Speaker Adem Mikulovci, broadcast Periscopi. According to Vetevendosje, it is already clear that coalition PAN is blocking the Assembly, so they say there is no need for other interpretations, even from the Constitutional Court.
“Today, the PDK-led coalition demanded that the continuation of the founding session be held 24 August. Therefore, he postponed his previous request for another week so that this Thursday or Friday, on August 17th-18th. In today's consultation, coalition representatives PAN again demanded that the Parliament's deputies vote on their candidate, Kadri Veselin. That's why they proved they don't have the majority and left open the opportunity to quit the session again if Wessel doesn't vote”, it's said, among other things, in the LVVA's response.
Besides Serbian List, main coalition partner PAN, today the harmful role of some representatives of other communities who agreed with the tactic of further procrastination to the establishment of governing institutions was introduced. Movement V ENVENTION! remains concerned about the positioning of minority deputies who thus exacerbated their communities' sensitive position in this period of political crisis and institutional blackmail. Movement V EAVENTION! understands today's inter-party meetings as tactical to the parties on the eve of the campaign for local elections in Kosovo. Insisting PAN representatives for August 24th connects with the deadline for handing over candidate lists for mayors and municipal members, which expires on August 22nd”, Vetevendosje's reaction continues.
Taking advantage of the decision the Constitutional Court had made in 2014, Vetevendosje says the PAN is aiming to prevent institutional life until candidacy and local-level electoral support markets are closed, Periscopi broadcasts.
