The former Kosovo Assembly President from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Nuredin Lushtaku, has said he welcomes Bekim Jashar's candidacy for the mayor of the Scikyright municipality.
Lushtaku told KALLXO.com that he will support the son of national hero Hamez Yasar to the end.
“we welcome Bekim Jashari's candidacy and supported him to the end”, Lushtaku said.
Although it has not been confirmed by Jashari himself, it has been reported yesterday that he will run for Skenderaj municipality chairman in the October 22nd elections.
KA LLXO.com has tried to take a stance from the Democratic Party of Kosovo if there will be candidates in these elections but has not received answers.
Not even Lushtaku has wanted to comment on the PDK's possible candidacy for this position.
