“We will take a close look at the exercises held next month”, Stoltenberg said after meeting with Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo in Warsaw.
Stoltenberg referred to joint Russian-Belarus military exercises, which have been named “Zapad 2017” and will be held from September 14th to September 20th.
Stoltenberg said transparency is important “at the time when there is increased military activity” along the borders.
Russia rejected concerns about training.
