Acting Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, under whose auspices was also held the entire burial ceremony and homazes, has gone along with all his ministers in office.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, DUI chairman Ali Ahmeti, and other figures of political and public life are also attending the funeral.
Bajram Rexhepi has died yesterday in a Turkish hospital at 63 years of age, while President Thaci has proclaimed it a day of mourning Tuesday.
