Mucholl: Nobody invited us when Arba Abrashi was introduced as Pristina candidate

Isa Mustafa, Agim Veliu and Lutfi Haziri, had decided to ignore the LDK's branches in Pristina when they introduced Arba Abrasin to the mayor of Kroci. Nor was Ismet Beqiri, one of the leading people of this party in Pristina. LDKIV Branch Chairman says no one invited them to the candidate presentation ceremony. He said it was only from the media that what happened.

Isa Mustafa, LDK chief and two vice-presidents, Agim Veliu and Lutfi Haziri, had organised the presentation of Arba Abrash for LDK] chairman.

All this ceremony had been ignored by all LDK) branch heads in Pristina.

Nor was Ismet Beqiri, the head of the LDK's V Branch, and the secretary general of this party been invited.

Without invitations there were four other heads of the most important branches in Pristina.

IV's Branch Chairman Halim Mucholli says he does not know why they were not invited to attend the Abrash inauguration ceremony as LDK) candidate for mayor of the most important city in Kosovo.

We just got information from the media. None of the Branch Speakers participated in the”, Mucholli, whose branch had nominated Vjosa Osman for Pristina Chiefs.

Arban Abashi won the candidacy for Pristina's chairman in a race with Ismet Beqiri and Avdullah Hoti, who had finally withdrawn from the goal of being Pristina's first. In a secret vote, applied for the first time in LDK, Arba Abashi had won in front of Ismet Beqiri.

Meanwhile, Beqiri, in a public response Saturday, said he regrets why the LDK did not propose it for Pristina's chairman. He said he had the backing of all LDK structures. In that reaction, the LDK Secretary General did not even say they would support Arba Abrash for Pristina's chief.

Meanwhile, Halim Mucholli says they are obliged to support Abrashi's candidacy despite the actions of the LDK's Headship.

“Of course we will support Abrashi's candidacy. But we must gather and draft a strategy for victory”, he added.

Arbani, former Minister and deputy, has now entered the race to become Pristina's chief in a race that faces the Shpend Ahmeti of Vetevendosje, AAKA's Arber Vladiu, Lirak Celay of PDK's Selim Pacollill of AKR.

Pristina, from post-war until 2013, was led by the LDK. Initially, Ismet Beqiri was Chairman until 2007, then Isa Mustafa until 2013, when he also lost to Vetevendosje.
