By 2010, when it was estimated that Kosovars spent a little over 100m euros on healing outside Kosovo, according to representatives of health professionals, this value has already reached 200m euros, Koha Ditore writes today.
Public health institutions have not commented on these values with the reason that they can only speak about public funds provided by the Ministry of Health for healing, but not about private funds of citizens who choose to be treated in hospitals outside Kosovo.
But health officials have said that there are many links to the health care chain.
