The bells that fall every 60 minutes will no longer be heard, and the scorpions will no longer tell the exact Londonns clock and thousands of foreign tourists visiting the British capital every day.
London's ikeonic clock mechanism is outdated, and just as the tower will undergo complete restoration.
British engineers will have to move the entire clock from the tower to repair it, a mechanism that weighs more than five tons.
The restoration of the clock, which began operating 175 years ago, will begin noon on 21 August.
And from that day on, the tower bell that is near the parliament building of Great Britain will not be heard until 2020.
