The Democratic League of Kosovo has reacted to the ultimatum that New Kosovo Alliance leader Behgjet Pacolli has assigned her and Vetevendosje Movement within 10 days to suggest that they can form the country's new government. At this party, they say Pacolli cannot provide ultimatums and deadlines.
The deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Agim Veliu, has responded to statements by AKR) President Behgjet Pacolli, on the ultimatums he has given in an interview for public television.
Veliu, whose party is in a coalition with Pacolli, has told Express that they take their own stances and, according to him, no one can provide ultimatums and lessons on how to act.
The first of the Podujevo municipality has shown that so far there has been no indication that Pacolli can go to PAN, and destroy the coalition with the LAA.
I'm just surprised by Pacolli's statement. At least until now we've been unique, there's not and there's been any infertility to disrupt the coalition or anything else. But what I can say is that Pacolli and no one else can be an ultimatum for the LDK. We have our leadership, and for every action we make our own decisions: ”, Veliu said of Express.
He has stressed that it would not be good if any collapse of the LAA coalition occurred, since, as he says, so far they have remained well and thus must continue.
“It's not good to be divided or any movement. LAA is unique and thus must continue”, he said.
Veliu has also said that Pacolli cannot do even the union of parties, as he wishes.
“Pacolli can't even talk about the LDK and the VV, and unite us or share us with attitudes, giving us common ultimatums”, he is saying for Express.
Veliu has said the country's institutions should be formed as soon as possible and the political crisis will not arise.
New Kosovo Alliance Chairman Behgjet Pacolli has held several meetings with VV leader Albin Kurti, LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa, and Ramush Haradinaj, the nominated PANUit for prime minister.
“I've talked to Mr. President today. Mustafa, I'll talk to Mr. Kurti, and I've said that within the first ten days you have to agree and if you two aren't willing to form a government, I don't know what my position means there is”, Pacolli said.
