The Democratic League of Kosovo through leadership last night decided that its parliamentary group's chief in the Kosovo Assembly would be Avdullah Hoti.
From this meeting, the second largest party in the country decided once again not to co-operate in any form with the PAN coalition.
LDK Deputy Chairman Haki Rugova in a conversation for Gazeta Oobserver has said that Avdullah Hoti's election at the helm of LDK deputies has no connection with the party's future in terms of the possible coalition with Vetevendosje.
I don't believe this has anything to do with any possible coalition. We maintain the right to target the head of the Parliamentary Group, and depending on the situation he can change”, Rugova said.
He has said that one thing is certain so far, that there will be no coalition with the PAN, while co-operation with LVV has not been discussed.
The obvious decision of LDK is that it will not go into coalition with the PAN. At the moment, co-operation with Vetevendosje is not being discussed, these things become step by step. This is the first step, not co-operation with PAN”, Rugova said.
The LDK deputy chairman has hinted that Isa Mustaf's party will remain in the opposition because, according to him, all other parties wanted it.
The “actually, those who joined to tear down Governance and Prime Minister Mustafa, let them make government their own. We were in the opposition, in one word, all parties”, Rugova stressed.
Asked about the possibility of voting any LDK deputy Kadri Veselin for chairman of the Parliament, Rugova says he does not believe this will happen. He said the LDK's political position is not to vote on Kadri Veseli, while if the opposite occurs, they will discuss within the party this issue to take action against those MPs.
This is a topic that can then be discussed, it's their issue. The LDK's political stance is not to vote Kadri Wessel. I want to believe that no one from LDK is going to vote Kadri Veselin for Chief Prime Minister”, Haki Rugova has finished.
Otherwise, the Kosovo Assembly Constituent session will be held tomorrow at 10:00. So far, Kadri Veselin's vote by the PAN for chief parliament have rejected the Vetevendosje Movement and the LAA coalition.
