Salij along with Bulliqi's speed was not included on the list because they were open opponents of Isa Mustaf, especially in the demarcation process with Montenegro.
However, for local elections, the LDK has been able to bring Adem Salihaj back, including his daughter, Center, on the candidate list for Ferizaj's Municipal Assembly, writes the news.
“After the confidence I have been given to run as an assemblyist from the Kosovo Democratic League in the Ferizaj municipality, express gratitude to God for my health, my family for continued support, the society for motivation, under the framework for the proposal, as well as the LDK branch in Ferizaj for the confidence they have given me to run in the local elections of October 22, 2017. I pledge that I will be a worthy representative in this task and that I will be ready every time I work for the good of my city and my voice in the municipal assembly will be the voice of the citizens of my municipality”, she said.
Adem Saliha had already run in the 2012 municipal elections as LDK candidate for Ferizaj, but was defeated by Agim Aliu PDK.
In the first local elections, he was elected mayor of the municipality, to be reconfirmed in the post even in the 2002 elections.
