The European Union office (BE) in Kosovo has called for the Parliament and Kosovo institutions to be formed as soon as possible, as the country is expecting major challenges.
In an interview for Telegrafi, spokeswoman Dinka Zival says the EU special representative in Kosovo urges parliamentary parties to act responsibly and meet obligations stemming from the Constitution and laws.
Kosovo faces many challenges: high unemployment, education system with low performance, corruption and weak rule of law ʹ which remains an obstacle to attracting sustainable investments that help develop the economy. Therefore, it is important that political leaders take these challenges seriously and act in line with the best interest of the people of Kosovo”, Telegraphy reportedly provided.
According to EU representatives in Pristina, Kosovo has clear European prospects and the European Union expects acceleration in the agenda of reforms contributing to this path.
Kosovo's “Bankers expect responsible leadership that will make significant progress right on the European road. It is the political leaders' duty to move forward”, Zival declares.
