Acting Finance Minister Avdullah Hoti and World Bank Country Director for Kosovo Marko Mantovanelli have signed two agreements between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the World Bank.
The first agreement will re-negotiate Kosovo's financing of the competitiveness and readiness for exports project, as well as the agreement on financing grants for agriculture, including rehabilitation of channels in the Radoniqi and Dukaj irrigation schemes.
Out of these agreements, Kosovo receives a 34.3m-euro loan for 20 years, with 5 years of a period and an interest rate of 0.44 %.
Mantovanelli said these two agreements will open up opportunities for new jobs. The agreements should be voted in the Assembly. /Kosovo pres/
